The unwavering support of Fidelity Bank towards educational empowerment of students has been consistently demonstrated through its Fidelity Helping Hands Programme (FHHP). Working under the aegis of FHHP, the multi-purpose vehicle of the Bank’s CSR initiative, staff of Private Banking Division contributed money from their salaries to support the education of students in Sidakod Nursery and Primary School and Granthood School in Lagos Island. The team provided them with a brand new drum sets, books and other educational materials.
The team was led by Divisional Head, Energy & Power, Abolore Soyede who represented the Head of Corporate Banking Directorate, Obaro Odeghe.  While emphasizing the need to give qualitative education to children, he explained that children are the future of every nation and that the best we can do is to invest in the children’s education for a better tomorrow.
“Fidelity Bank will continue to support education in Nigeria because we know that an educated generation is a liberated generation, and nothing prevents one from succeeding when you’ve been liberated,” he stated.
The materials were received by Head Teacher, Sidakod Nursery and Primary School, Doyin Oduntan who commended Management and Staff of Fidelity Bank for such a laudable initiative and promised to make judicious use of the facilities. She called on other corporate bodies to emulate the Bank and invest in our children’s future.
